Pretty Great Cheesecake was started by Kurt & Carrie Anderson in 2018.
The name speaks for itself, we’re pretty great! Kurt started making cheesecakes as a hobby for friends and family, but wasn’t satisfied with his current job. The Chaska couple decided to follow their passion and dive feet first into owning their own business. They both love food and you will often find both of them in the kitchen cooking or baking together. Both Kurt and Carrie learned an appreciation and love of food from their mothers. Carrie loves baking so much, she has ribbons from entering baked goods at county fairs around the country! Kurt has a ribbon of his own as well, he won the Blue Ribbon at the Minnesota State Fair with his honey cheesecake!
Their food truck travels around the state to fairs, events, and weddings. Customers can also place orders online and simply pick up their handcrafted cheesecake in Chaska, as early as the next day! The menu of gourmet cheesecakes is ever evolving and growing, you’re bound to find something you love. Kurt and Carrie believe in the power of dessert! They hope with every cheesecake you purchase, you take pride in serving their beautiful creation to your family and friends.
The Andersons love serving their community and the state of Minnesota. Kurt is an on-call Firefighter with the Chaska Fire Department and Carrie is an active volunteer with the St. Paul Winter Carnival.

We don’t use peanuts in anything. Allergies are the reason you won’t see a Peanut Butter cheesecake on our menu.
